Why Crosslink Marketing?

Crosslink was the name my brother had originally coined for his own business quite a ways back. When I started thinking of establishing my own LLC, I noted he was not moving forward with it and I asked if he minded if I grab hold of it.

The reason … well it was evident to me that it was the absolutely “right” name for me given the various core areas of service support Crosslink focuses on (sales, marketing, biz development), the connectivity of primary markets served (food, wine and entertainment) and the strength and breadth of my network/networking within those industries and beyond.

We all want our “story” and this is part of mine to hopefully provide the ability to “link” them all efficiently to provide value to and extend value to clients.

Although there are some marketing advantages from placing ones name for visibility and recognition, one other element that is/was important to me is that the business can potentially continue on without having a “name” at the helm, while being flexible to expand in different directions as value can be derived for client benefit.

In relation to potentially hiring Crosslink Marketing, the primary reasons for doing so relate to connectivity, competency, and trust.

Connectivity is what Crosslink provides to make valued connections happen whether it is directly related to an industry or a functional need.

Competency is the ability to leverage those connections and/or creatively figure out a means to get necessary objectives accomplished.

Trust is what assures confidence in the direction and execution of a plan. Trust takes time. It needs to be earned because it is always about what one does and not what one says. The only way to establish that is by proving it through actions and experience.
